Tri-State Contractors Management Team

Randy Ponsell started his business career in 1965 as a draftsman at SCM Organic Chemicals in Jacksonville, Florida. After a series of promotions within the company, he became construction superintendent. In the liaison and negotiations with many kinds of contractors doing work for SCM, Randy gained a broad knowledge of the mechanical contracting business. It proved to be a natural and smooth transition from dealing with contractors to the position of contractor.

In 1981 Randy joined Tri-State contractors as vice-president. In June, 1985 Randy purchased Tri-State Contractors, renaming it Tri-State Contractors of Florida, Inc.
